What is a vCard QR Code?

A vCard QR code encodes contact information in the vCard format (VCF). When scanned, the phone prompts the user to save the contact with all details pre-filled — no manual typing needed.

vCard QR Code on Business Cards

Print a vCard QR code on the back of your business card. People can scan it to save your details instantly instead of typing them in. This ensures accuracy and makes follow-up easier.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I include a photo in the vCard QR code?
Our generator creates vCard 3.0 codes which do not include photos. Photos significantly increase QR code complexity and reduce scanability. Link to your website or LinkedIn profile instead.
What is the difference between vCard and meCard?
vCard is the international standard (RFC 6350) supported by virtually all phones. meCard is a Japanese format with more limited support. We use vCard for maximum compatibility.
How small can a vCard QR code be printed?
For a vCard with all fields filled, print at least 2.5cm x 2.5cm (1 inch). With fewer fields, you can go smaller. Always test before committing to print.
